【Description】

This product is a white or off-white powder.

【Pharmacological Action】

Sulfonamide antibacterial agent. Sulfamonomethoxine inhibits bacterial proliferation by interfering with folic acid synthesis, exhibiting potent inhibitory effects against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

【Indication】

Sulfonamide antibacterial agent. Used to treat respiratory, digestive, and urinary tract infections in chickens caused by susceptible bacteria. Also effective for the treatment of coccidiosis and leukocytozoonosis in chickens.

【Usage and dosage】

Dosage is based on this product.

For administration in drinking water: For chickens, 2.5–5g per 1L of water. Administer continuously for 3–5 days.

【Adverse Reactions】

Prolonged or high-dose use may cause immunosuppression in young poultry, reduced weight gain, and decreased egg production in laying hens.

【Precautions】

Long-term use may impair renal function. Co-administration with an equal amount of sodium bicarbonate is recommended.
