【Characters】This product is a light brown powder.

【Pharmacological Action】

This product is an astringent. After oral administration, it is decomposed by trypsin in the intestines and slowly releases tannic acid, which causes the proteins in the intestinal mucosa to precipitate and form a protective layer to reduce irritation, lower inflammatory exudates, and decrease intestinal motility, thereby exerting an astringent and antidiarrheal effect.

【Drug Interactions】

(1) This product can affect the efficacy of pancreatic enzymes, pepsin, lactase, and other drugs, and should not be taken concurrently.

(2) This product should not be taken with alkaline drugs, as B vitamins may be destroyed.

(3) If used with other drugs, drug interactions may occur. Use as directed by a veterinarian.

【Indications】

Adjunctive therapy for Escherichia coli-induced diarrhea in chickens.

【Dosage and Administration】

Based on this product. For oral administration: Mix with drinking water: 0.33 g per 1 L of water for chickens, once a day for 5 consecutive days.

No adverse reactions have been observed when used as recommended.

【Precautions】

(1) When treating bacterial diarrhea in chickens, this product should be used after or concurrently with antibacterial drugs to control the infection.
